This track was created completely out of improvisation. We had no rehearsal or any idea what either of us were going to do. I just started a loop, started playing and she started singing, picking phrases from her notebook. The track was recorded back in the fall, and later I did some overdubs and some editing, but what you’re hearing is based on what we made up in the moment. Instruments used: The "Glitchedelica" disc on the Quilter Labs Panoptigan, Moog Music Inc. Subsequent 37, Therevox - Custom Musical Instruments and vintage Wurlitzer Electric Piano, a Casio and some others.

Paula and I met at Sid Gold’s while she was studying in NYC. Whenever she would sing, songs would go off on unexpected tangents and improvisations. It was always fun and exciting when she would approach the mic. Because of this connection we seemed to have, I invited her to my studio to spontaneously create some music.
